About

As a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist for over twenty years, I have heard from many people with whom I have worked in therapy, that taking the first step toward getting the help one needs can be an overwhelming task.  It is my belief that the therapeutic relationship should be viewed as a partnership, and that this partnership is equal in importance to the approach a therapist takes.  With this understanding, I offer an initial consultation free of charge to assure that both the client and therapist feel that it will be a good fit.

If there is something in your life that is hampering daily functioning; anxiety, worry, depression, or there is a goal that you can not reach for reasons that are not completely understood, my expertise in finding your strengths and drawing upon them can help facilitate moving through difficult times, shift old patterns, and reframe negative thinking to move you forward in making the positive changes that will enhance your well being.
